Driven by Passion, Perfected by Experience: The ShowCar Auto Spa Journey
Humble Beginnings in the Garage
Welcome to ShowCar Auto Spa, where our passion for car care transforms into the exceptional detailing service you know today. Our journey began in a humble townhome garage in Colorado Springs in October 2021, with a young, ambitious 18-year-old founder who started out offering mobile detailing from a van. The turning point came when a social media video, showcasing his charismatic presentation in front of his detail van, went viral with 1.8 million views. This significant exposure was pivotal, allowing us to expand our team by three additional members by January 2022, and setting the stage for rapid growth.
Viral Success and Rapid Expansion
The surge in demand saw us outgrow our initial setup, where the living room served as the waiting area and the dining room doubled as the employee break room. By April 2022, we moved into our first official shop near downtown Colorado Springs, a modest 500 square feet space that was necessary to accommodate the increasing number of products that began to fill up the garage. The success continued as we launched our own car care product line, Show Car Care, in May 2022. Featuring everything from wheel and tire cleaners to ceramic coatings, these products sold out within their first weekend, further establishing our reputation in the market. Our founder’s engagement with the community through live streams on TikTok while packing orders played a crucial role in our growth, helping us amass over 500,000 followers and significantly boosting our sales. The positive response led to the introduction of 13 different products, and in September 2022, we expanded into a larger shop to accommodate our burgeoning success. The following winter marked the launch of our ceramic coating product, and we initiated a comprehensive training program that included over eight different sessions in 2023. These sessions were aimed at educating other shop owners on business and social media strategies as well as product usage, fostering a community of knowledgeable professionals in the auto care industry.
Strategic Expansion and Franchising Milestone
Today, ShowCar Auto Spa operates out of a new 6,000 square foot facility in Colorado Springs. Here, we offer full-time Paint Protection Film (PPF) services and ceramic coatings, enhancing our range of high-quality offerings. The success of our proprietary ShowCar Care products has significantly contributed to our growth, reflecting our ability to meet the detailed needs of our clients with innovative solutions. Our commitment to excellence and innovation has also led us into an exciting phase of franchising, aiming to replicate our successful model in new locations, with Denver set to become the head location and Colorado Springs a franchise operation.
